... Well, that was terrible. Will try to be funny next time.

Am I the only one who doesn't really have an opinion on the change? O.o

I always kinda assumed that Inuyasha would always be here for me, that it would just go on in the back of my mind as a largely ignored but reassuring presence.

And now it's over. It's done. And I can't help but feel that it failed to satisfy.
I loved the way the Sango/Miroku relationship ended up. I loved how Kagome's family ended up. I loved the end of the Shikon no Tama. I loved a lot. But what about Kouga? I really wanted to see what his life ended up being. What about Midoriko? Why did her fate, and her battle within the jewel, get overlooked at the end? I always loved speculating about how Takahashi would resolve that, and I'm feeling depressed that she merely skimmed past it.
And the Inuyasha/Kagome ending? No confessions of love? Not even a kiss? Miroku and Sango got one, yet our lead characters didn't? And for reasons unknown to me, Kagome's choice in the end was a good one, but it sort of made me sad. Why is that? O.o

Hmmm. I'm not going to ramble anymore. I might drop some spoilers, or start crying, or something lame like that.
